Our event and organization is called “FEED THE BLOCK”. FEED THE BLOCK is similar to other consumer buy, sell, and trade events, such as the Rose Bowl Swap Meet and Colorado Flea Market, but our brand mission is “the event with a community purpose”. Our event provides a place for those like minded individuals to buy, sell, or trade.

The first event we curated, we sold several items at prices lower than market value which were also donated by our local community and collectors around the Denver area, which resulted in more than our goal for 400 plus attendees for our first event. We teamed up with Find Your Dopeness, another purpose driven, community based organization that focuses on meal prepping and addressing food insecurity for underserved individuals. Now we are looking to keep spreading the love and feed more than the block. We want to donate proceeds to help feed the homeless in the cities that we are hosting in and/or work with an organization to join in giving back.

The goal of our event is to leverage a community gathering and atmosphere of selling, bartering and trading to give back to the local community. The majority of our vendors and booth space will feature sneakers, vintage clothing/items, trading cards, video games, art and other collectibles. There will be a massive installation that will feature affordable and desirable items curated by the Feed The Block team, in addition to raffles and quickstrike (rare and limited) items where the proceeds will also be donated to charity.

Our first event of the year will be held on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 alongside Meals of Dopeness led by chef Christina Ruiz. Additionally, we are working with local charities and organizations such as be a good person, its a bodega, feed the streets, and black arts festival. We are looking to make this and future events grow with charitable contributions and company sponsorships in order to keep spreading the love by feeding the block.
